2012-13 Preferred Basketball Packout (10)

The Panini America NBA team is burning the candle at both ends right about now. Hot on the heels of releasing last week a 2012-13 Marquee Basketball product that offers a breadth of foils, print technologies and unique Rookie Card types comes word today that the guys are hard at work at the production facility this week preparing 2012-13 Preferred Basketball for takeoff.

The highly anticipated follow-up to last season’s Preferred debut will deliver an updated array of all the bells and whistles collectors instantly fell in love with the last time around, including a seeming library’s worth of new booklets, the die-cut Panini’s Choice Award autographs, Preferred Signatures and those breathtaking Silhouettes and Rookie Silhouettes.

We’ll have tons more to preview on 2012-13 Preferred Basketball in the coming days right here on The Knight’s Lance. But in the name of immediate gratification, here’s an early look at just some of the rich content as it appeared earlier today during the pre-packout process.

Enjoy.

  1. When Will the release date be?
    Looks really good.
    Especially Those Silhouettes!!!

Plain And Simple yet very sophisticated with a very classy look!

That Diesel Booklet is a must Have!
    Can I Have it! lol!

Anyway cool preview and I’m sure this alpha dog of all cards! #PaniniPrefered will be a hot topic in forums and showcases in YouTube.
    That’s why We Prefer Panini!!!!

  2. The book cards are wonderful, beautiful, amazing etc. and the jersey autos looks great too, but i don’t really like those almost triangle looking cards, sorry they just looks too weird to me 🙂

    1. Calling Perry Jones chicken scratch an auto is a disrespect to all autographs before and after that. Why players do not take the extra second to add a couple letters to their names is beyond me.

  3. Excellent looking gallery, that red background Durant auto really pops and the Shaq booklet is very well done. Thanks Tracy!

  4. Looks great-1 recommendation though: to have the booklet with a parallel version with an autograph(s). Keep up the great work Panini a always 😀

  5. Great looking product Tracy! Is there a checklist yet? Will the Preffered RPA Silhouette’s be #’d #/10 or #/25? Will there be a Moe Harkless, Tobias Harris, Quincy Miller, Evan Fournier, Terrence Jones, Kawhi Leonard, Enes Kanter and John Henson RPA’s?.. I collect all of those players, so please LMK, thanks Tracy! cheers

  6. Love it! There are some real beautiful cards in this product and a lot of the players took the time to make a real neat signature. I love the patches! A little disappointed in PJ3 though. Can’t wait to have it in my hands!

  7. Nice patches there… surely will order a case.. BTW Tracy, any idea when the 2011 RC Redemption for Gold Standard & Limited will be out and shipped? Playoff is coming man…

  8. I really like booklet cards and the other items combined into this product. Most of these I PREFER to collect 🙂 Especially anything with rookie silhouettes
