Hall’s Hallowed Vets Honored with Patriotic Insert in 2012 Cooperstown Baseball

As Americans from coast to coast take time today to celebrate the Fourth of July (with food, family, fireworks, fun and perhaps even a few fastballs), we thought now was the perfect time to preview the patriotic With Honors insert slated for Panini America's upcoming 2012 Cooperstown Baseball.

As Americans from coast to coast take time today to celebrate the Fourth of July (with food, family, fireworks, fun and perhaps even a few fastballs), we thought now was the perfect time to preview the patriotic With Honors insert slated for Panini America’s upcoming 2012 Cooperstown Baseball.

The star-spangled 10-card chase honors those heroic members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame — Jackie Robinson, Stan Musial, Joe DiMaggio and others — who served time in the military during their baseball careers fighting to keep America free.

As we celebrate another Independence Day, With Honors provides a colorful, fitting tribute to a handful of heroes who were as legendary on the diamond as they were serving in the armed forces. And it should serve as a proud remember of the heroic men and women in the military — past, present and always — who put their country before themselves.

From all of us here at Panini America: Happy Independence Day.

  1. You know Tracy i was setting here looking at these greats that served our country! An idea came to me i dont know if u guys have done this yet but what if Panini does a insert set with the cuts of some of the players uniforms that served our country!!! Now that would be somethin!!!

  2. This is a well imagined insert that resonates deeply with serious collectors and occasional pack busters alike.
I, too, think that a memorabilia parallel would be historically significant and heavily pursued!
