Hits Keep Coming: More On-Card Deliveries Arrive for 2010-11 Elite Black Box Basketball

Larry Bird. Kobe Bryant. Blake Griffin. Derrick Rose. And that's just the list of hoops headliners whose autographed cards have arrived at Panini America headquarters in the last two days.

It’s enough to make even collecting’s most hardened observers get weak in the knees (I know, I’ve seen it). It’s also two more days worth of positive signs — pun intended — for the inaugural Elite Black Box Basketball, due out in September.

Over the course of the last few weeks we’ve done our best to keep you up to date on most of the new arrivals for Elite Black Box. But today’s gallery of Black & Blue Signatures and Crusade autographs is truly something to behold. No need to bore you with more expository introduction. Let’s get to the provocative images.

  1. Nice to see some Eric Gordon on-card autographs. These cards look pretty good. I hope the are on a thicker card stock.

  2. Very nice! Is the entire draft class going to be included in this product? Tracy you wanna send that email so I can send you those pics of my Xavier Henry collection.
    •Thanks~peace~out•

  3. These cards look very classy! Love the on card autos and I cant wait to see further previews of this product! (Hopefully including some of the Logomen cards)!

    Cheers
    Matt

  4. Are you guy the #1 company yet? I don’t think you all care, you just do your job, but you got to be close.

    1. What are you looking at?……The mirror!!! The same old scheme!! You’re probably a Topps guy who like the fact that you will not see the same product line next year ie. Letterman…Co-signers….Treasury….JS

  5. I definitely like the direction that Panini is going with their designs. I do have an issue with manufactured patch cards of such significant pieces as Logomen or Letters – these have a tendency to muddy up the waters for the actual game-used logomen and letters. Also this causes hobby confusion for many collectors who end up buying a manufactured patch, assuming that it is game-used. The D Rose auto is really sweet! In higher end products, given the price point, I believe Panini should not reach for the lower tier players on teams. There should be some assessment done on current market sale value of players autographs to determine the auto checklist to guarantee value for collectors and will help maintain the original price point.

  6. Nice stuff- do you have a complete checklist available yet? or at least a complete checklist for the Crusades auto? who’s in it? and are they all live or are some redemptons?
