As collectors across the globe celebrate Christmas today with family, friends and -- if they've been especially good this year -- their favorite Panini America trading card products, we thought we'd take this opportunity to offer an extended pre-ink peek at 2013 National Treasures Football, which promises to be, simply, one of the most gifted football products of this or any other season.
As collectors across the globe celebrate Christmas today with family, friends and — if they’ve been especially good this year — their favorite Panini America trading card products, we thought we’d take this opportunity to offer an extended pre-ink peek at 2013 National Treasures Football, which promises to be, simply, one of the most gifted football products of this or any other season.
We first began teasing the impending juggernaut a few weeks back — first on Twitter, and then with a comprehensive follow-up right here on The Knight’s Lance. So if you were blown away by those preliminary sights, well, the sky’s the limit on the beauties you’re about to behold. The following gallery details myriad bona fide collection makers (fabulously filthy game-worn booklets, the incredibly heady Hats Off, and the stunning Colossal and Notable Nicknames inserts) in their unsigned state. The next time you see these beauties, they’ll be boasting bold on-card signatures.
But when you have something as epic as the images that follow to share (consider it a holiday eye-candy feast, from us to you), well, you show them even before they’re signed — and after, too.
From all of us at Panini America to all of you: Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year. Thanks for making 2013 a truly extraordinary year. Here’s to an even bigger and better 2014.

Great looking cards, a nice little Christmas present to see this post. Merry Christmas to all.
very nice gallery. Those tag patches are absurd!
Mind is blown and looks like playbook booklets will be autograph too.
Always the best product of the year and this stuff looks sicker than ever! Any idea on a release date?
WOW IF CAMERON WAKE IS GONNA HAVE A AUTO THANK U PANINI BEN WAITING ON A AUTO CARD TO FINALY HIT A PRODUCT FROM MY BOY WAKE #GOPHINS!!!!!
Wow! This is the most beautiful set I’ve ever seen to date! This is truly the most prestigious of all card collecting and really is, considered by me, as close to actual memorabilia you can get on a card! Excellent job as always @PaniniAmerica
Wow! Looks like I am not the only one to react to this gallery with that term. Panini America has taken football cards to the next level with 2013 National Treasures.
Seeing this gallery and my wishful thinking, with this year’s NT will we see increased veteran and HOF autograph and memorabilia content?
This looks like it just might be the BEST National Treasures EVER!!! I love all the on-card autos and the dirty patches are amazing!! I always buy at least 2 boxes of NT every year but looks like im going to buy at least a Case this year! Great job Panini and Tracy and you know i LOVE the Aaron Rodgers! Merry Christmas Panini
What a awesome collection of cards. Got my eye on about 10 of them haha. I do have a honest question, my favorite card in the gallery the Dez Bryant 1/1 prime patch is a laundry tag patch and it says game used,. My question is that patch is at the bottom end of the jersey and Dez has his jersey’s cut custom for the games. So that patch wouldn’t be on the jersey during the game. I just am wondering how this is game used. By the way the Bo Jackson and Emmit’s are filthy. Im sure the Bronco’s tags got you drooling a little bit Tracy 🙂 Merry Christmas my good friend. I hope the family had a blessed day!!
Hey, Jon. Thanks for the well wishes and the comment. Good question on the Dez card. As you can see in the link below showcasing a batch of game-worn Ravens jerseys we received last year, that tag is actually from the inside of the back collar of the new Nike jerseys.

This is a drool only product for me..can’t afford this one but it truly looks stunning Mr. Hackler
another amazing year of national treasures
Question – When did Emmitt Smith wear a Nike Jersey?? Even the photo on the card shows a Reebok logo on the sleeve..
The Dallas Cowboys — and Emmitt Smith — wore Nike jerseys from the late 1990s through 2001.
When is the pending release date of this fantastic looking product?
