Inside Immaculate: Panini America Initiates Packout for 2014-15 Immaculate Basketball

Early last Friday morning, Panini America officials began the packout process for 2014-15 Immaculate Basketball, easily one of this season's most anticipated releases across all sports. Bolstered by the fascinating return of Sneak Peek, a spectacularly stacked autograph roster and some of the sickest memorabilia cards you'll ever see, this year's Immaculate is seemingly equipped to be the best iteration in the brand's short-but-proud history.

Early last Friday morning, Panini America officials began the packout process for 2014-15 Immaculate Basketball, easily one of this season’s most anticipated releases across all sports. Bolstered by the fascinating return of Sneak Peek, a spectacularly stacked autograph roster and some of the sickest memorabilia cards you’ll ever see, this year’s Immaculate is seemingly equipped to be the best iteration in the brand’s short-but-proud history.

In the juicy gallery that follows, we offer an extended look at some of the gems that surfaced Friday and Saturday while Cory Hollingsworth and Keith Hower oversaw the packout process. Luckily for all of us, they were nice enough to snap some pics while they were there.

2014-15 Immaculate Basketball is set to arrive in hobby shops across North America on May 6, and you can bet that we’ll have lots more to preview here on The Knight’s Lance between now and then. But today’s tease should be sufficiently revealing until our next post.

Enjoy.

  1. How much do those on the Creative & Design Team pay Panini? Ya’ know, to work in the industry and crank-out the sickest cards the Hobby has ever seen?

There’s a big pool o’ drool in front of me after having viewed this gallery; BEAUTIFUL!

  2. Wow, I am totally speechless right now! I thought you guys couldn’t top last years Immaculate and boy was I wrong. This years Immaculate looks freaking amazing! You guys really set the bar once again. I could only pre-order one box this year and I really wish I could buy one or two more, but hopefully there something juicy in the box I pre-ordered! The design team at Panini deserves crazy props for this years immaculate! All you guys at Panini keep up the great work and I can’t wait for Immaculate to come out!

  3. This is Immaculate insanity!!!! That triple Blazers card owes me a new pair of pants! Nice work guys

    1. Besides the player combination on that Blazers card, it really isn’t that special. Using the same exact patch/tag placement on each seems lazy and well…boring. I see a lot of defective/rough cut swatches as well as misplaced patches. FAR from Immaculate, sorry.

  4. Wow So many Cool Cards to look at! If we get lucky enough to open one box in our Channel that would be a thrilling to the max.
Congrats Panini and their amazing Staff for putting out a sure Product Favorites and Product of the year! Kudos and stay cool!/

  5. WOW, just WOW! These are simply amazing. I can not believe that these cards will soon be available to the public. People will be lining up for this, pre-paying, over-paying, pre-ordering in group breaks. It’s gonna be bananas, wow, well done Panini, well done – you are awesome!

  6. Truly impressive array of memorabilia cards for the impending Immaculate, I’m sure many of these will yield a premium for the lucky ones who pull them. Thanks Tracy!

  7. Really disappointed the cases only have 5 boxes, unlike last year when they had 6. Also, the price point is higher, so we pay more with less chances to get a hit for those of us interested in group breaks. I will not be buying this year.
