It's pretty clear from the buzz still reverberating throughout the sports card industry that last week's teaser video offering the tantalizing first glimpse of Panini America's Eminence Basketball struck a major chord. To be sure, the 71-second trailer served as a dramatic tone-setter for a high-end product the likes of which we've never seen.

Are weights going to be added in boxes and cases to throw off any tampering and ‘searching’?
This is like Flawless Immaculate going Dubai. I am a bit devided for a product like this since I like to get lots of random cards and get one superhit like this in a box for a smaler price. but at the same time its great to get all the hits in one box for a higher price. A fun note is that Pinnacle brand Action Packed got the 24k gold trademark. This only got 14k gold and its worth some 614$ in metal value only. Wow! How are you going to top this?
I doubt that Panini will allow this post to be seen. How in the world can the non-precious metal cards (gold or platinum) be worth the $590-$845 cost per card? Don’t get me wrong, the cards and patches look great but not worth the sale price.
Price for ounce of platinum is sitting around $840, 14K Gold is $628, Silver is only $14.
That is how they can say they cost that much, I’d be destroying my Fat Lever platinum for the metal value that is for sure.
Its the new version of flawless
Some absolutely GORGEOUS cards. A question though…. where are the HUGE hitters? Where are the Dual Auto Logomen? If you’ve got dual logo man autos I’ll buy at least 4 cases at $5500…. maybe more. But I can’t buy this without the dual logo man autos.
What is the release date for these boxes???
I honestly do not see the appeal, especially at what the price will be. I’m not convinced with this release.
What is the suggested price on this product?
This set looks too good to be true, wow. Thanks Tracy!
There are no words to adequately describe the beauty. I love what I see. Great job Panini America!
Finally some nice Nowitzki on-card autos!!!!
Not a fan of using all-star patches. They all look the same regardless of the player on the card. Plus, they are all just black, white, and shades of grey, very bland looking. Common Panini, in a product this expensive it should just be the top of the top in terms of patches. No piping, no pieces of numbers, just logos, full letters, and logomen patch pieces.
