NEW ORLEANS — It’s been a fast and furious first few days for the Panini America team in the Big Easy for 2014 NBA All-Star Week. The action started just minutes after touching down Thursday morning with an impromptu signing session with Panini’s own Kyrie Irving — and the action has only intensified from there.

The 2014 NBA All-Star Jam Session opened its doors Thursday afternoon and basketball fans in attendance wasted no time in finding the Panini America booth. Once there, they were treated to free 2013-14 NBA Hoops Basketball packs and free 2013-14 NBA Sticker Albums and commemorative sticker sheets. All the while, the company’s wrapper-redemption program was busy from the beginning, with fans and collectors eager to claim Panini America’s Jam Session-exclusive eight-card Prestige set and their choice of commemorative NBA All-Star Patch cards in exchange for qualifying purchases at the NBA Store.

Thursday night, Golden State Warriors young star Harrison Barnes signed free autographs at the Panini America booth for a seemingly endless line of fans. When he was done engaging them, he turned his attention to signing his on-card autographs for the company’s upcoming 2013-14 Intrigue Basketball and 2013-14 Court Kings Basketball releases.

Friday began with the Naismith Memorabilia Basketball Hall of Fame announcing the nominations for the Class of 2014, a star-studded cast that featured Alonzo Mourning and, for the third time, Run TMC front man Tim Hardaway. An hour later, the affable Hardaway visited the Panini America booth to sign free autographs for fans as well as his 2013-14 Court Kings Basketball cards.

In the video and gallery that follow, we bring you just some of the highlights from our first two days in New Orleans, including interviews with both Barnes and Hardaway, captivating scenes from the Panini America booth and more.

Action promises to heat up considerably today, when Ben McLemore, Trey Burke and Andre Drummond visit the Panini America booth to sign autographs. In between, Clippers superstar Blake Griffin is slated to dop by to meet 10 lucky winners from this week’s 2013-14 Prizm Basketball Box Wars contests and help us crack a case of 2013-14 Gold Standard Basketball.
