Look What Arrived in the Mail Today . . .

I can't recall if ever I've written this before on The Knight's Lance (or simply if I've thought it so much that it seems like I have), but I'm channeling my inner Forrest Gump when I tell you that working at Panini America is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get -- in the mail.

I can’t recall if ever I’ve written this before on The Knight’s Lance (or simply if I’ve thought it so much that it seems like I have), but I’m channeling my inner Forrest Gump when I tell you that working at Panini America is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get — in the mail.

Take today, for example: A rather a ho-hum December Tuesday in Dallas transforms into instant excitement when we receive the daily update from Rosalinda Rios in Acquisitions informing us of the day’s autograph arrivals. Highlighting today’s batch is downright handsome handwriting slated for upcoming sets like 2011-12 Limited Hockey, 2011-12 Crown Royale Hockey, 2011 Limited Football and 2011 Playoff Contenders Football.

Here’s hoping the following handiwork spices up your Tuesday as much as it did mine. And stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance. You never know when that next shipment just might be a day-changer.

  3. If us collectors all worked at Panini America, and working at Panini America was like a box of chocolates? We would all be morbidly obese. Holy Crap those are some of the best cards I’ve seen yet. Limited looks fantastic this year. Kudos! (brp!) Sorry….chocolate.

  4. Cards look GREAT!! Is Limited the next football release or is Plates & Patches next? Either way im excited for both of them!!!

  5. Wow! Is that the perks on working with Panini Card company? I envy you guys. How i wish im part of the company you work with so i can experience what is like to be you guys. Hey, Its christmas time, wanna share some cards to us?

  6. Love the Look of The Rookie Numbers from Limited… But where the heck is that Number from on the Brett Connolly Card? I would have QC check where that swatch came from, could just be the picture but looks like a Kings Jersey and not a Lightning Jersey…
