When the Denver Broncos selected linebacker Von Miller out of Texas A&M with the second overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, they expected big things from the bespectacled beast. Clearly, though, the athletic, do-it-all defender has exceeded even the most ambitious expectations.

Through the first 10 games of his career, Miller leads all rookies with 9.5 sacks, has been nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week honors three times and has sparked a resurgent Broncos defense that’s helped Denver win four of its last five games after a woeful 1-4 start.

During May’s 2011 NFL PLAYERS Rookie Premiere, Panini America’s Tracy Hackler sat down with Miller to discuss his best Rookie Cards, going from College Station to Colorado and his eye-popping eyewear.

  1. BEST INTERVIEW EVER, Tracy you are so lucky. Von is such a layed back person its crazy how much he changes once he steps onto the field. He really loves the fact that he is an Aggie, he has come back to college station and signed autographs before the football games this season. We need more interviews with Von lol. Oh and one more thing WHOOOP!!! GO AGGIES!!!

  2. That must have been awesome to meet someone from your favorite team. Von is having an awesome season. Great interview Tracy.
