From the massive 500-card base set to clean designs and bold images, 2011-12 Score is built to pack universal appeal and a rip-roaring good time for hockey fans and collectors alike. But for all of the product’s attributes (Hot Rookies, Snow Globe Die-Cuts, Score Signatures, etc.), it’s hard to beat the 15-card Net Cam insert for pure uniqueness of perpsective.
Just as it did last season, the appropriately dubbed insert pays tribute to some of the top goalies in the game with rarely seen imagery that succinctly chronicles the emotion and excitement of hockey’s most collected position. There’s a quiet intensity featured on each one of these cards that only becomes stronger each time you look at them.
love this set! my fav insert set last year, ahead of Brass B and I am a whalers collector
No Marc-Andre Fleury? Boooo.
Nice set, some great images with that angle. Just a little nit pick, though – too many of these goalies are on away ice. What makes the Jimmy Howard so cool is that it’s a great action shot, on home ice, so you see all the Red Wing banners in the rafters. Had you put Howard on away ice, like Vancouver’s Rogers Arena, where many of these photos were taken? It would be a less interesting image. Just my two cents…
Good feedback, Brad. Much appreciated.
I love this subset and picked up a couple singles from it last year. Definitely the most unique photography in the hockey genre.
wow! amazing photography! no one has ever done a pic at this angle. should do one from a catchers angle for baseball
Really, you had to pick an image of Miller from 2 years ago, not one in the current jerseys….
Not bad. Nice clean deisign and some nice action shots.
