As the 2011-12 NHL season enters the frozen winter months, the on-card autograph arrivals hitting Panini America headquarters on a daily basis will most certainly keep collectors warm — and likely downright scorching — as the temperature continues to drop.

In just the last few days we’ve received several notable on-card inclusions for upcoming products such as 2011-12 Pinnacle and 2011-12 Limited, but perhaps the highlights are the 10 original cards from 1992-93 Pinnacle signed by Philadelphia Flyers great Eric Lindros and slated for inclusion in that same product 19 years later.

Of course, hardcore hockey hobbyists might also find immeasurable pleasure in other new arrivals (all of which are showcased in the gallery below) from the legendary Hanson Brothers Fans of the Game cards to new Tough Times signatures to the Limited Crease Cleaners cards inked by Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Bernier just last week when he sat down with Panini America’s own Shelly Ring.

Enjoy this exclusive sneak peek and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional updates on 2011-12 Pinnacle and 2011-12 Limited.

  1. Just 10 of the original? Believe those were part of the 30 card Lindros box set sold by Pinnacle back in 92-93. Not including the other 20 cards?

  2. oH mY!!! Those Hanson Brothers cards are AWESOME!!!

Are all 3 guys included in the set? I will have to get those!!!

Met them guys a long time ago at a Minor League hockey game!!

    Great job Panini!!!

  3. The Hanson brothers, “they brought their toys?” I don’t collect Hockey, but “Slapshot” is one of my all-time favorite films & I’m pleased to see continued “outside the box” thinking by Panini. Very clever…a Hanson Bros. auto just made my short “must acquire” list 🙂

  4. Its usually not always about the auto, the photography on these is amazing. But I must admit….for some reason I believe that Dave Hanson is staring at me while I am trying to look at these….its a little creepy lol. Anyways, great job again Panini.

  5. Very nice job guys, really like the hanson auto idea as i live near Johnstown where SlapShot was filmed I will have to get those! So when are you guys picking the winners for the black friday cards? And did anyone happen to find any images of 11/12 Limited?
