New Pics from Panini America Start to Bring 2015 Clear Vision Football into Focus

This time tomorrow, Panini America's unique, acetate-based 2015 Clear Vision Football will begin packing out at the company production facility across town -- and a little birdie told us that Panini America Football Brand Manager Chris Barr just might be taking over the Panini America Twitter account to provide live updates from the floor. But while you're waiting for tomorrow, we thought we'd deliver some hot-off-the-presses previews of several Clear Vision inserts.

Panini America 2015 Clear Vision Football First Look (35)

This time tomorrow, Panini America’s unique, acetate-based 2015 Clear Vision Football will begin packing out at the company production facility across town — and a little birdie told us that Panini America Football Brand Manager Chris Barr just might be taking over the Panini America Twitter account to provide live updates from the floor. But while you’re waiting for tomorrow, we thought we’d deliver some hot-off-the-presses previews of several Clear Vision inserts.

It was clear from our first mention of 2015 Clear Vision Football back in early June that this was a different kind of product — and those differences were ones that you could plainly see — and see through. Acetate stock. Only A-list signers. Zero redemptions. 2015 Clear Vision Football is taking a quality-over-quantity mentality in terms of hits and places a premium on cool technology and compelling designs.

In the gallery that follows, we showcase the first finished cards from the product that were hand-delivered this morning by Panini America Production Manager Carlos Torrez for the express purposes of this preview. Among the insert sets you’ll see? Clear Winners, Clear Shots, Rookie Vision, Double Vision and Team Vision.

Enjoy the sneak peek and be sure to stay tuned tomorrow for live Twitter updates from the packout process.

  1. Are these going to be hard signed, or 99% stickers? A product like this should have zero stickers in it. Beautiful cards.

  2. Too much going on for me. I like classic looking cards more like Achieves with a good action shot and not some zoomed in cut out with a wild chrome design. I think if they get rid of that big head piece and just keep the other half of the card it would look alot better for the vets base. As is it looks like there’s two cards glued together.

  3. Love the focus on vets and legends hopefully not all scrubby rookie hits! Also reminds me alot of 90s inserts hope they are #’d

  4. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THIS HOBBY NEEDS!!! Money spent on better “base” cards!!!! LESS cards and HIGHER QUALITY!!!!

  5. The acetate cards are the coolest cards ever released. I pulled an Anfernee Hardaway Rookie acetate back in 1993 & flipped, thought it was the coolest thing ever. Have several acetate sets that are #’d 1 of 26,000, 1 of 5,000, & 1 of 7,500 i fell in love with acetate cards right then, that’s about all I want to collect now.
