Beginning tomorrow in the fabled football haven known as Green Bay, Wis., the NFL, Panini America and Walmart will embark on a five-week, seven-city NFL road trip filled with tailgating fun, free autographs from beloved stars of the past and Panini America’s 2013 NFL trading cards and stickers.
In a massive celebration of a new season, the NFL, Panini America and Walmart are joining forces to bring former NFL stars Antonio Freeman, Karl Mecklenburg, Jay Novacek, Hall of Famer Fred Biltenikoff, Jamal Lewis and more to Walmart locations in their respective NFL towns to interact with fans and to sign special Panini America photographs in a laid-back, tailgating setting the day before a big game.
Panini America also is using the road trip to showcase its Super Bowl Kid Reporter Contest that will win one lucky child the opportunity of a lifetime to cover Super Bowl XLVIII Media Day in New York. Fans and collectors can find contest access codes inside retail versions of 2013 Rookies & Stars Football, 2013 Absolute Football and 2013 Contenders Football.
The festivities kickoff tomorrow in Wisconsin, where Freeman will appear at the Green Bay Walmart from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. — just 24 hours before the hometown Packers host Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins. From there, the road trip moves to Shrewsbury, Pa. (September 21), Denver (September 22), Houston (September 28), Oakland and Dallas (October 5), and Baltimore (October 12).

Love the design of those photos, really well done.

Nowhere near me unfortunately, good luck to those who can attend. Thanks Tracy!
Tracy,
I have a couple of questions on these signings.
1) I’m close enough to go to 2 of them one is in Shrewsbury PA any information as to who and when?
2) Will player be signing items we bring in or will they only be signing the cards your showing above?
Any additional information would be great Thanks, Dion my email is [email protected]
Dion, yes you can bring an item for the player to sign.
Tracy and it is Antonio Freeman correct Thanks, Dion
Yes, sir. Antonio Freeman.
Thanks Will be there will send you some pictures from event! Dion
So, who’s going to be the “Pittsburgh” guest this upcoming Saturday? Or will we not know till the day before the event (Friday)?
I want to make plans to attend the autographing session since I live in Pittsburgh. However, “when the road trip moves to Pittsburgh (September 21)”, the location listed is on the other side of PA along the the I-83 corridor (in PA) and closer to Baltimore than it is to Pittsburgh. 🙁
The guest will be Antonio Freeman. The location is correct.
Tracy, Antonio Freeman was the 14th guest, not the 21st.
He’s also going to be the 21st guest.
Is the Time 11am-12? and will Antonio be signing what we bring or something they will have there? Thanks Dion
James M – Where did it say it’s a “Pittsburgh” signing! lol Go Ravens! Freeman didn’t play for Baltimore either, Just glad one of these is close for me. Thanks to Panini and Wal-Mart.
Yes, sir. 11-12.
Check my blog post from today’s signing. Thanks, Dion

Dion, the original blog post called the 21st a “Pittsburgh” location. However, I pointed out to Tracy that the location was over 200 miles from Pittsburgh and it should be corrected to say it was “Shrewsbury, Pa” instead so that Pittsburgh fans didn’t get their hopes up.
It sucks that they couldn’t come to Pittsburgh. 🙁 I would have made time to come for sure.
Where is Karl mecklenburg signing?
He’s signing today from 11 to 12 at the Walmart superstore on Parker Road in Parker, Colo.
Did you have a great time Tracy?
Where exactly is Jay Novacek going to be signing? I’m wanting to go there for sure!
He’ll be at the Walmart in Arlington right by Cowboys Stadium.
Hey Tracy, do you have any idea who will be at La Porte, TX tomorrow?
Hall of Famer Elvin Bethea.
