Oakland Raiders Great Tim Brown Stars in a Special Edition of Panini Unwrapped

How appropriate that on the day Panini America's 2012 Prime Signatures Football goes live, one of the most prime pass-catchers in NFL history stops by company headquarters to sign some autographs. When he was done, Oakland Raiders legend and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown spent a few quality minutes discovering some of the finer points of Prime Signatures.

How appropriate that on the day Panini America’s 2012 Prime Signatures Football goes live, one of the most prime pass-catchers in NFL history stops by company headquarters to sign some autographs. When he was done, Oakland Raiders legend and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown spent a few quality minutes discovering some of the finer points of Prime Signatures.

After catching 1,094 passes for 14,934 yards and 100 touchdowns during his decorated 16-year career, it’s obvious that Brown knows a thing or two about having a hot hand. And after you see what he pulled in his first pack, it’s obvious that one of the most underrated players of all time still has it.

During this special episode of Panini Unwrapped, the future Hall of Famer also sheds some light on playing in the Black Hole, supporting Notre Dame, the time he started crying while running a route and what he’s been up to since retiring in 2004.

Enjoy.

Tracy you are a lucky guy with such a great job!

  3. Great video..LOVIN the cards as always! But what i loved even more (& was cracking me up)…was the look Tracy gave Chris towards the camera when Tim was talking about Notre Dame winning the game(the “are u gonna let him talk about OK like that?” look)! Lmao! Y’all never cease to kerp me laughing in these videos! Must be a blast while filming lol

  4. A’s a true raider fan it was a joy to watch Timmy open some product! Only fitting he’d pull another raider legend! Awesom stuff, already been in a break w mojobreak of this! Great job again and as always panini team!

  5. I was at that Penn State game he mentioned back in 1987. COLDEST I’VE EVER BEEN. It was about 25 or 30 degrees with a stiff wind the whole game. About 2/3 of the student section left at halftime, but my friend and I stuck it out (we were the only ones out of a group of about 10 that started the game). We were seated in the end zone probably 2-3 rows from the field when ND was stuffed on a 2-point conversion with less than a minute left in front of what was left of the student section. Great memory!!

Cards look great. I like the look on the veterans cards (Largent). Can’t go wrong with 1/1 BO Jackson either!!

    Thanks for the preview!!!

  6. Great insight into what Tim Brown is doing after life in the NFL. I commented on the Panini Peek for this set but again, I love the design of these cards because it is just simple and elegant. As always, another great Panini Unwrapped and I await future ones!

  7. Great looking cards. One of those base cards that Tim Brown touched would definetly be one of my most precious cards;) I like how Tim was just naturally gifted with modeling those cards. Thanks again for another amazing Panini Unwrapped episode.

  8. Wow, what a great video. As soon as that Steve Largent was pulled I kind of zoned out though because he was/is my favorite player of all time. The main reason I wore #80 during my high school career was to be like Mr. Largent in one way although he gave his fans many reasons to want to be like him. If you need to find a home for it you know how to get a hold of me. Thanks for the fun time with another receiving legend–Tim Brown!!

  9. Fantastic interview around the new product break Tracy, he seems like an excellent guy. Not sure if there is any sort of giveaway associated with this Unwrapped but there is a YouTuber named fighton52 who is the most dedicated Bo Jackson collector on the planet and I know buys a significant amount of Panini products from his LCS, if you did intend to give that card away I would like to nominate James as the recipient. Thanks as always and keep up the great work to everyone @PaniniAmerica!
