Oakland WR Amari Cooper Claims Week 7 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week Honors

Voters on NFL.com have made their choice. Wide receiver Amari Cooper of the Oakland Raiders is the Week 7 2015 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week, the NFL announced today. Cooper caught five passes for 133 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders’ victory over the San Diego Chargers.

Cooper was selected from five finalists through fan votes on NFL.com. The other Week 7 finalists included St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley, Jacksonville Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon, Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks and New Orleans Saints linebacker Stephone Anthony.

After the regular season, five players will be nominated for 2015 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. In conjunction with the 2015 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week promotion, Panini America produces a virtual trading card for each week’s winner.
