Tomorrow morning, Panini America officials will begin packout for 2014 Elite Football, one of the longest-running brands in sports cards history that’s prepping for its 16th annual installment. Despite delivering several innovative chases over the years (most notably Passing the Torch, Turn of the Century and Inscriptions autographs, and Aspirations and Status parallels), the product’s iconic numbered foilboard Rookie Cards remain key drivers.

That is especially true for 2014, when RCs (numbered to 999 or less) honoring Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles, Teddy Bridgewater, Sammy Watkins, Mike Evans, Kelvin Benjamin, Jadeveon Clowney and other members of the spectacular 2014 NFL Draft Class arrive on the market July 23.

Be sure to follow the Panini  America Twitter feed tomorrow when Panini America Brand Manager Chris Barr takes over to provide live updates of the 2014 Elite Football packout process directly from the company’s production facility. To get you ready for that, today we’re offering a must-see first look at just some of 2014 Elite Football’s key Rookie Cards featuring the game’s top newcomers in their NFL uniforms. Enjoy the gallery and stay tuned for continued coverage.

  1. elite looks really good this year! when is the release day of that going to be? might pick up a box at the national

      1. sweet i have the redskins in a case break of this so hopefully ill pull something really nice to show off on twitter

  2. Nice looking set 🙂 I like the background design, it’s not noisy and doesn’t take away from the player, the players stand out nicely 🙂 Nice job on this design 🙂

  3. Wish all Panini products numbered their RC to 999. Lets bring back the value of the base cards, instead of opening up boxes and throwing the base cards to the side till you hit your hit.

  4. So glad to finally see Premiere photography on base cards, even if they are numbered. I doubt I’ll be able to get the /999 Manziel, that will be out of my price range 🙁

  5. I wish they didnt make so many parallels and the rookies come only in one signed version…. but with all the versions means more cards printed and the commons get thrown in my shredder if the Boys & Girls club dont want to take them..
