It’s Monday of National Treasures Release Week, which means Panini America is now just two days away from launching one of the most anticipated NBA trading card products in years. 2012-13 National Treasures Basketball goes live on Wednesday packing the kind of super-premium bells and whistles that will reverberate throughout the collecting universe for quite some time.
Collectors, the time has arrived. After almost two seasons away, National Treasures Basketball — one of the most storied super-premium products in hobby history — is making its celebrated return to the hardwood next Wednesday. The NBA made official earlier today what most of the league and its millions of fans around the world have known for months: Portland Trailblazers guard Damian Lillard is the Kia NBA Rookie of the Year for the 2012-2013 season. The sixth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, Lillard led all rookies in scoring (19 ppg) while playing in all 82 games this season.
