Panini America “A Crucial Catch” BCA Cards Dropping in 2011 Gridiron Gear Football

All October long, Panini America has partnered with the NFL and its players to honor Breast Cancer Awareness month as part of the league’s “A Crucial Catch” campaign.

The powerfully pink campaign, a partnership with the American Cancer Society, is focused on the importance of annual breast cancer screenings for women and once again this season saw NFL players, coaches and referees sport pink game apparel that has been auctioned for charity.

Not to be outdone, Panini America produced two special “A Crucial Catch” trading cards for each of the 32 teams in the NFL as part of the promotion using the 2011 Gridiron Gear Football design. The strikingly hued handouts were distributed all month long exclusively in stadiums throughout the country.

But late next month, a limited number of those cards will find their way into packs of 2011 Gridiron Gear Football, randomly inserted and numbered to 250 or less.

Presented here, for the first time in its entirety, is the complete 64-card Panini America “A Crucial Catch” gallery. Be sure to look for your favorite players when Gridiron Gear releases November 21.

  2. Still think these look great!! And once again great job Panini showing that you are there for great causes. REally like the Nicks one. I also like the rookie ones too.

  3. Hey Tracy, will any of these be included in any upcoming product releases such as Gridiron Gear? Or were these just for handouts at stadiums? And will there be memorabilia or auto versions? if so I think it would be awesome to see pink pieces that players had worn such as gloves, socks, shoes, etc included onto the cards.

  4. As an avid football card collector and one that has lost my mother to breast cancer, I would like to thank Panini for such a cool set to raise awareness. I plan on getting as many of these as I can when they come out.
