Panini America and Reese’s Senior Bowl to Unveil First NFT Trading Cards for 2022 Event

Panini America and the Reese’s Senior Bowl today announced a new element as part of their exclusive partnership that will include history-making NFTs for every player on the roster during the 2022 Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.

The exclusive marketing sponsorship began last season and made Panini America the exclusive trading card partner of the Senior Bowl and included exclusive physical trading cards, concourse signage, game activation and player video content capture. This year, the two entities are upping the ante by delivering every Senior Bowl participant their own, first-of-its-kind, One-Of-One Player Edition Senior Bowl NFT trading card.

“We are always looking for ways to enhance the Reese’s Senior Bowl experience for our players and gifting them their very own NFT is a cool way of doing that,” said Reese’s Senior Bowl Executive Director Jim Nagy. “Whether they ultimately choose to hold onto it or sell it, there is real value here. This is just another example of our great partnership with an industry-leading brand like Panini paying dividends for Senior Bowl participants.”

“Our exclusive relationship with the Reese’s Senior Bowl is one of our most dynamic and rewarding partnerships,” said Jason Howarth, Panini America Vice President of Marketing. “We are excited to be able to work with the Reese’s Senior Bowl to be able to create a unique collectible for each Senior Bowl participant, and deliver their very own one-of-one player edition NFT to celebrate their participation in this iconic college football all-star game.”
