This time next week, Panini America officials will be preparing to unleash the company’s trademark brand of passion, energy and show-stealing buzz on the 2013 Toronto Fall Expo. Clearly, we have a lot to share between now and then. We’ve already pulled the curtain back just a little on our highly anticipated Panini VIP Party. This evening, we’re shifting our focus to the wrapper-redemption set that will drive sales and excitement at the Panini America booth all weekend long.

We’ll preview the set in its entirety — including the show-exclusive numbered Rookie Cards, autographs and memorabilia cards — in the coming days. But in this post, we’re going to focus on our 2013 Toronto Fall Expo base set, a 28-card hockey haven featuring the game’s greatest stars, legends and youngsters.

In addition to nine base cards, there are subsets devoted to Hot Rookies (16 cards) and to three of the legends being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on November 11 (Chris Chelios, Scott Nidermayer and Brendan Shanahan). You can catch a glimpse of every card in the set in the following gallery.

In the coming days we’ll provide additional details on all facets of the wrapper-redemption program, the Panini VIP Party and all the other activities we have planned for the 2013 Toronto Fall Expo that will make the Panini America booth the place to be — once again — all Expo long. Stay tuned.

  1. Expo redemption packs are always awesome! I had a blast cracking open a few packs at last year’s Fall Expo. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to make it this year. If Mr. Prusha is as nice a guy as I think he is, he’ll make a few packs available for a treasure hunt! 🙂
