Panini America Delivering a Collecting Edge to the College Football Playoff (Gallery)
Six short days from now, Panini America, an official sponsor of the College Football Playoff and Playoff Fan Central, will bring its popular interactive booth — and a championship-worthy collectibles spread — to the National Championship festivities in Florida. Next Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Panini America will set up shop at Playoff Fan Central inside the Tampa Convention Center. On Monday, the day of the National Championship Game, Panini America will move to Raymond James Stadium for the Championship Tailgate.
In addition to the company’s traditional Mobile Tour activation that includes the Panini America sprinter van and interactive activities, the company is planning a diverse trading card attack that features a Wrapper Redemption program and booth giveaways featuring special cards made exclusively for the College Football Playoff.
While you prepare for this weekend’s two must-see Semifinal matchups featuring Ohio State, Clemson, Alabama and Washington, here are complete details on next week’s Panini America activation . . .
Wrapper Redemption Program
Panini America will be giving away free as a gift with purchase a promo set to fans and collectors who purchase one of Panini America College Team Sets. The 11-card set will include a National Championship header card and 10 cards (two college legends from each team in the College Football Playoff and one card from each of first two College Football Playoff championship teams).
Booth Giveaways
Panini America has created special Green Variations of the company’s College Team Set cards featuring 25 players. The cards will be distributed in two-card packs to fans and collectors who participate in Panini America’s popular Plinko game. Four special 5 by 7 cards will be prizes to fans and collectors who hit the Jackpot in the Plinko game.
