Panini America’s NBA Dunk digital trading card app is ready for the chilly climate and bright lights of this weekend’s NBA All-Star 2016 festivities in Toronto. It’s ready to honor the NBA’s biggest superstars with a fresh batch of new digital content that just released today. So if you haven’t downloaded the NBA Dunk app just yet, we suggest you run — not walk — to get that done here or here. If you have, kudos.

Earlier today (and in preparation for this weekend’s NBA All-Star activities), Panini America released a new 24-card NBA All-Star 2016 set that features 12 Eastern Conference All-Stars and 12 Western Conference All-Stars. The cards are available now and are seeded one per All-Star pack. Be sure to check back after Sunday’s game for updated digital content including new cards featuring images from the game and new cards honoring the weekend’s Slam Dunk, Three-Point and Skills Challenge winners.

Collectors who complete the 68-card All-Star set (24 now and the remaining 44 to come after the game) can earn rare award cards celebrating the winners of the Saturday competitions and the All-Star Game MVP. In addition to the new All-Star content, NBA Dunk releases a new player card every day as part of the ongoing Player of the Day insert.

To help keep you updated on all of the NBA Dunk excitement as it happens, Panini America has also created a new @PaniniDigital Twitter account, a must-follow for fans of the exciting new app. In the gallery that follows, we detail a lot of the content that has been added to NBA Dunk. Enjoy the sneak peek and stay tuned for additional coverage of Panini America’s digital presence, including last week’s release of Super Bowl-themed content for the NFL Gridiron app.

  1. Enjoy the app but wish we were able to trade directly with another user rather than just posting a card up on auction. If I had an extra Curry and someone else had an extra Lebron that I needed it would be a lot better to trade rather than having to post the cards and bidding.

    1. Great feedback, Joe.Enhancements to the app in general — and the trading functionality in particularly — are being made on a frequent basis and the app will continue to become more robust, engaging and entertaining as a result.
