In fact, as part of a special partnership, Panini America will enter the Octagon with Jury — the company’s name on the front and back of the promising fighter’s trunks and on his in-Octagon banner.

Three days later in Las Vegas, Jury will serve as Panini America’s special guest at the 2014 Industry Summit, signing autographs for Summit attendees who attend the company’s annual address and then helping distribute Panini America’s coveted Black Boxes.

“Through the course of acquiring athletes and celebrities to appear in our upcoming Americana products, we were presented with a unique opportunity to partner with Myles Jury, one of the most promising young fighters in the UFC’s lightweight division, for his upcoming fight in Dallas,” said Jason Howarth, Panini America’s Vice President of Marketing. “Obviously, we’re excited about Myles’ potential in this sport and we’re happy to show that by making him a part of Team Panini when he’s fighting in our backyard.”

“I’m thrilled beyond belief to be a part of a great team like Panini,” Jury said. “It’s been a tough road getting to this point, but everything is working out nicely and there is still a lot to do. Being a part of the team and working with a great brand like Panini is what I thoroughly enjoy the most and what pushes me hard each and every day.”

Stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage of Panini America’s partnership with Jury and the fighter’s appearance next week at the 2014 Industry Summit.

  1. Stellar news, as a huge MMA fan I’m optimistic that this is just the beginning of Panini’s return to the card market for the sport. It needs some innovation and Panini is just the company to do it, I believe cards can be produced of individual fighters with more ease than any other sport without the official license from the league. Can’t wait to see the next Panini MMA set. Thanks Tracy!
