Based on a string of simply stellar rookie performances, today The Knight’s Lance showcases exclusive Panini HRX video footage starring Eddie Lacy, Kenny Stills and Cordarrelle Patterson, three of the five nominees for Week 8 Pepsi NEXT NFL Rookie of the Week honors.

The first installment of the new-generation HRX concept combines 24 top NFL rookies — including Geno SmithEJ ManuelEddie Lacy and more — with exclusive video footage of each player captured at the 2013 NFLPA Rookie Premiere. The video content is activated when collectors scan the QRL code on the back of each HRX card. But that’s no ordinary QRL code. It requires a special app that is absolutely free and takes less than a minute to download.

After you’ve done that, come right back here because we’re going to give you a chance to watch some early HRX footage from Stills, Lacy and Patterson.

This new HRX technology will allow players to update their video footage in real time. We’ll also use The Knight’s Lance HRX channel for exclusive episodes of Panini Unwrapped, player interviews and much more. So stay tuned for additional coverage of the next-generation of HRX.

But for now, enjoy your early screening . . .

  1. This is really ironic! I picked up a few packs of Prizm Retail at Target today on my lunch break. I pulled the Kenny Stills HRX card and downloaded the app. Pretty interesting idea…but the Platinum Leauge Media Player App is a little buggy….you can’t pause the videos and it doesn’t always load the first time you scan it.

    1. Not sure why you having problems.. Maybe your phone is too slow like on 3G only or bad weather or something like that.. I also have the cards that I picked up and I had no problems whatsoever. I even scanned the cards that are up on top and I saw everything just fine. I am using ipone 4G and after reading your post I thought maybe it was just my phone that was just a good phone, so I asked my wife to use her Android phone Galaxy model. It scanned and played the videos just perfectly.

Maybe you should get a better phone or make sure you have a descent signal.
Hope you get it all fixed. I think this is a fantastic idea and about time you can get a lot more info than just reading something that does not change. Best of both worlds.

I wish I could have had this on my Jordan Cards. I would just scan and see his greatest shots and could also bring new life to trading cards with my youngest son who loves looking at Lebron videos. This is Awesome and I cant wait to see the other cards as well.

  2. I scan the panini hrs card and when I scan it says loading and nothing happens! I’m frustrated and can’t figure out why I can’t see the videos
