Panini America, the global leader in licensed sports and entertainment collectibles, announced today that it has reached a multiyear agreement with the AFC West-champion Denver Broncos to be the franchise’s exclusive provider of game-worn memorabilia through Panini Authentic, the company’s memorabilia division that also maintains exclusive relationships with Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, Andrew Luck and the Dallas Mavericks.

The partnership will afford Denver Broncos fans the rare opportunity to own historic jerseys worn by the team’s biggest superstars during their march to the AFC West title. The Broncos season continues Saturday with an AFC Divisional Playoff matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Fans can view some of the game-worn inventory that’s available (including jerseys worn by Peyton Manning, Champ Bailey, Von Miller, Eric Decker and more) now at the Panini Authentic Website. More items will be added in the coming days.

“We are pleased to partner with one of the elite franchises in the NFL for a relationship that allows us to procure rare and valuable game-worn memorabilia directly from the Denver Broncos, and offer ironclad authenticity and peace of mind to fans and collectors,” said Mark Warsop, CEO of Panini America.

“Our utmost priority throughout this process was identifying a partner that cared as much about protecting the integrity and collectibility of our memorabilia and brand as we did,” said Mac Freeman, Denver Broncos Senior Vice President of Business Development. “Clearly, Panini America and its Panini Authentic division is that partner. They are a recognized leader in the world of sports cards, collectibles and memorabilia, and their commitment to authenticity will benefit Broncos fans.”

As part of the partnership, Panini America also is serving as a supporting sponsor of Broncos Bunch, the official kids club of the Denver Broncos, and will provide in-stadium sampling of trading cards at least once per season throughout the length of the agreement.

We’ll have much more on this exciting announcement in the coming days and weeks right here on The Knight’s Lance. Until then, enjoy this all-access peek at some splendid Denver Broncos history tucked securely away in the Panini Authentic vault.

  1. Tracy,

    A) Congrats
    B) Don’t go all Indecent Proposal on them.
    C) I think you need a card store in Colorado to showcase these items in before they are shipped to you. Hey, I just happen to know one… 🙂

      1. Higher up than you??? There are such people at Panini? Nonsense! As far as I’m concerned Tracy Hackler is Panini and Panini is Tracy Hackler. 😉

  2. Oh Tracy, I can only imagine how giddy you are over this deal. I just have this mental image of you dancing around your office in a Von Miller jersey like a kid in a candy store. Excellent announcement, now that my Colts are out of it I would like nothing more than to see Peyton win another one! Thanks!

  3. Awesome deal. Are you guys gonna sell the Jersey’s whole, or they gonna be used in trading cards? Either way thats totally awesome. I picked up my first game used jersey at the National this year, and cant wait to get some more. I’ll def be checking back in to see what’s up with the Jersey’s. I would love to have a Peyton Manning game-used jersey on my wall, as Im sure any fan would haha.

  4. Congrats. To me, that is a major move for anybody. The NFL have things on lock, but you guys are breaking the barrier. Now, I think I will see more of the best pics that can be had, Game Used Items.

    So looking forward to it.

  5. To Mr. Hackler — I assume this is because if the note I sent you yesterday about you not wearing a Chicago Bears tee shirt in your videos. See the pressure fans can put on an organization. Ha. Well I am still in for some type of bet. I have to assume that with all this pressure on you and Panini that the next team you will go after is Chicago. Ha.

  6. When I read this article I was so happy. That’s awesome Tracy, like you I’m a huge Broncos fan and would go nuts to if I was around a bunch of game used jerseys from them. Do you know when you will be selling them and on which of your websites? Thanks

  7. Absolutely Amazing. As I told you when we met, I collect Game Used uniforms and right now Panini is THE reliable source of some of the best. Great Initiative ! I hope to see other teams soon, after the success of this . Let me go check the inventory.

  8. Congrats Tracy! We’d also made a passive run at a marketing deal with the Broncos on these gamers, but as we’re into historical research of the unis (as opposed to being a retailer) our pockets just weren’t deep enough. Glad to see that Panini got the deal done and will be making these available to the fans/collecting public.

  9. Glad to hear some could be used in cards. There’s nothing better than pulling a jersey card with a nice grass stain on it.

  10. Ugh don’t ruin these jersey’s by cutting them up. Send them straight to the authentic website for fans can purchase them in their entirety. Hopefully they’ll be priced competitively.

  11. Hey Tracy sorry bout Denver not making it this year, really thought they had a good shot! Anyways congrats on the huge score signing a deal with them though! It dont get any better than that! All we ask is plz just dont go to over board with it! Lol Hope you getsome great oppertunities with the experience as well!!!!
