Panini America Offers Detailed First Look at 2014-15 Select Basketball (Preview Gallery)

Panini America's groovy-great Tie Dye Prizms that seemed so far-out in 2014 Prizm Football earlier this season are crossing over to the NBA -- and it's safe to say that 2014-15 Select Basketball will likely be a whole lot more funky as a result. But rest assured that the product will have a whole lot more than cosmically cool new Prizms going for it when it arrives in early March.

Panini America’s groovy-great Tie Dye Prizms that seemed so far-out in 2014 Prizm Football earlier this season are crossing over to the NBA — and it’s safe to say that 2014-15 Select Basketball will likely be a whole lot more funky as a result. But rest assured that the product will have a whole lot more than cosmically cool new Prizms going for it when it arrives in early March.

Each 12-pack hobby box of the new-look Select Basketball will deliver three autograph or memorabilia cards and 12 Prizm parallels, on average. New for 2014-15 are six new autograph or memorabilia insert and a tiered base set that features Concourse, Premier Level and short-printed Courtside variations that fall roughly two per box.

Additional highlights of the product include . . .

• The return of the rainbow with each base-set offering its own unique Prizm parallels; all three base-set versions feature Gold (numbered to 10), Green (numbered to five) and Black (numbered to only one).
• Collected coveted Rookie Cards of the dynamic 2014 NBA Draft Class with the Rookie Jerseys Autographs insert featuring several collectible parallel versions.
• Look for Rookie Signatures cards paralleled by Copper, Gold and Black Prizm parallels.
• The City to City insert presents the opportunity to pull multiple team jerseys worn by some of the NBA’s biggest stars — on the same card.
• The dynamic Select Sparks memorabilia insert comes to vibrant life on Prizm technology.
