Next week in cities across America, NFL teams will open their bid for the Super Bowl XLIX title when training camps open league wide, officially launching the countdown to the start 2014 NFL season. But in the football collecting arena, the season already is in full swing. Panini America has released  three products so far this season — 2014 Score Football, 2014 Hot Rookies Football and 2014 Prestige Football. Next Wednesday, 2014 Elite Football arrives.

In early August, 2014 Rookies & Stars Football will join the pack-busting party with each each 24-pack box (eight cards per pack) delivering four autograph or memorabilia cards (with at least two autographs guaranteed), two SP Rookie Cards, six inserts, six parallels and eight calling-card Crusade inserts.

Rookies & Stars’ 200-card base set features 100 RCs and a slew of Longevity parallels including base Holofoil, Gold, Platinum and Black versions and Team Logo Holofoil, Gold, Platinum and Black versions. The product also includes a full range of Longevity Autograph parallels and 40-card Rookie Materials and Rookie Materials Signatures inserts, and a 20-card Materials Signatures insert.

Other inserts include the spectacular Slideshow, the nickname-inspired AKA Stars, and the aforementioned Crusade chase featuring Blue, Red, Purple, Gold, Green and Black parallels for both veterans and rookies.

  1. I never have an issue with “R&S,” it’s always loaded with sweet swatches and much-sought signatures. But this season, given the depth and positional breadth of the rookie class, the product should be particularly potent! As testament to such, that Bridgewater auto patch! As a long-suffering Viking fan who believes that Teddy has the physical tools and mental acumen to be Minny’s Bridge (over troubled) Water, I’d be beside myself if I pulled such an issue. Lastly, I’m a sucka’ for the “Crusade” cards, they really add a nice element to the product.
Just like Elite and Prestige before it, Rookies and Stars is looking up!

  2. Thanks again for another chance to win…I found the first image in Elite Football QC# 50, the second one in Kobe NT Immaculate Signing #17,and the third one in Spectra Basketball QC #55 Abdul Jabbar. Thanks for a fun scavenger hunt…there are some great looking cards here!

  3. This product was much improved last year and looks awesome again this year. Really like the way you guys did the rookie auto jersey/ patches in ’13 and now again in ’14

  4. I’ve got two different variations of card number 110 Blake Bortles. one card his mouth is closed and only shows part of his left hand, The other card he is smiling with mouth open and shows all of left-hand. Does anyone know what’s up with this??

  5. Just pulled a Blake Bortles Longevity holofoil autograph jersey # / 49 it is a awesome card I can only find mine on the Web!!!
