BACKPanini America Offers Detailed First Look at 2017-18 Encased Basketball (Gallery)
Just “encase” you were wondering . . . it’s true. Panini America’s Encased brand that made a successful debut in the NFL last season by delivering one BGS-graded autograph card per box (along with a choice selection of other high-end hits) is crossing over to the hardwood. In early May, 2017-18 Encased Basketball arrives in hobby shops across North America with an array of captivating tributes to the hottest 2017-18 rookies and to the greatest current stars and all-time greats. Encased also delivers some of the most poignant, personality-revealing photography of the season.
On average, each hobby box of 2017-18 Encased Basketball (five cards per box, eight boxes per case) will deliver two autographs (including one graded) and two memorabilia cards. All autographs will be numbered to 99 or less. The highlights of Encased’s NBA debut will be many and include . . .
- Top-tier autographs from the NBA’s greatest players, including autographed memorabilia cards and rare Perfect 10 graded cards.
- Look for on-card autographs featuring unique inscriptions signed by the game’s top rookies and veterans.
- Autographed memorabilia cards from the league’s top veterans and legends in Vaulted Veterans Materials Signatures and Legendary Swatches Signatures.
- Find oversized memorabilia cards in Substantial Swatches and Substantial Swatches Rookies.
