Panini America Offers Detailed First Look at 2017 Pantheon Football (Preview Gallery)

From its "Mount Rushmore" memorabilia cards to its lofty, legend-based checklist, Panini America's 2016 Pantheon Baseball arrived on the scene to rave reviews last fall, parlaying a unique array of aesthetics and themes that appealed to fans and collectors of baseball's all-time greats. Such an auspicious debut made crossing Pantheon over to the NFL a no-brainer. In late July, 2017 Pantheon Football arrives.

From its “Mount Rushmore” memorabilia cards to its lofty, legend-based checklist, Panini America’s 2016 Pantheon Baseball arrived on the scene to rave reviews last fall, parlaying a unique array of aesthetics and themes that appealed to fans and collectors of baseball’s all-time greats. Such an auspicious debut made crossing Pantheon over to the NFL a no-brainer. In late July, 2017 Pantheon Football arrives.

On average, each seven-card box will deliver six autograph or memorabilia cards and one base or parallel card. 2017 Pantheon Football will bring with it an abundance of autographs and memorabilia cards from Hall of Famers and all-time greats. The product features a 100-card base set printed on metal and numbered to 50 or less. In fact, every card in 2017 Pantheon Football will be numbered to 99 or less.

The highlights of the product are many and include . . .

  • A variety of cards that feature dual-, triple- and quad-player materials, on-card autographs paired with two and three pieces of memorabilia, coach autographs and RPAs of the top 2017 NFL Rookies.
  • Each card tells the story of football’s biggest stars with exclusive team, milestones, retired jersey numbers, Hall of Fame, award winners and many more.
  • The all metal base set features the best players in NFL history. All cards are numbered to 50 or less. Look for Gold (#’d/10) and Bronze (1-of-1) parallels.
  • Pantheon Scripts Triple features three pieces of memorabilia and on-card autos.
  • Featuring the 2017 NFL Rookies in their pro uniforms, Neophyte Calligraphy RPAs will feature plenty of prime hits for collectors to chase. All are #’d/99 or less.
  • Mentors is full of Super Bowl winners and all-time sideline generals. All are #’d/49 or less.
  • Featuring QBs with 25,000 or more yards, the autographed Scripts 25,000 insert is sure to pass the test with collectors. All are #’d/49 or less.
