Panini America Offers Detailed First Look at 2017 Torque NASCAR Racing (Gallery)

Panini America's Torque NASCAR brand likely has a soft spot in the hearts of many racing collectors for it was the first higher-end Panini America NASCAR release when it arrived last fall. The second of Panini America's four 2016 NASCAR products, Torque delivered one autograph or memorabilia hit in every pack and provided a glimpse into what the company had in store for fans at the higher end of the collecting spectrum.

Panini America’s Torque NASCAR brand likely has a soft spot in the hearts of many racing collectors for it was the first higher-end Panini America NASCAR release when it arrived last fall. The second of Panini America’s four 2016 NASCAR products, Torque delivered one autograph or memorabilia hit in every pack and provided a glimpse into what the company had in store for fans at the higher end of the collecting spectrum.

In late May, Panini America will deliver the highly anticipated follow-up with 2017 Torque NASCAR Racing, the hit-per-pack sequel that features a nice assortment of on-card autographs and memorabilia cards with multiple pieces. On average, each hobby box (10 cards per pack, five packs per box, eight boxes per inner case, two inner cases per master case) will deliver three autographs, two memorabilia cards, five parallels, one Clear Vision insert and four additional inserts.

The highlights of 2017 Torque NASCAR Racing are many and include . . .

  • Jumbo Firesuit Signatures cards featuring on-card autographs and oversized swatches of material. The insert features a base version as well as Blue (numbered to 99 or less), Red (numbered to 49 or less), Green (numbered to 25 or less) and Purple (numbered to 10 or less) versions.
  • Silhouettes Sheet Metal Signatures featuring on-card autographs, die-cut swatches of material and Blue, Red, Green and Purple parallels.
  • Prime Associate Sponsor Jumbo Patch 1/1s showcasing some of the best drivers in the NASCAR universe.
  • Quad Materials featuring four swatches of material, including firesuits, sheet metal, tires, gloves, shoes and hats.
  • Metal Materials features top drivers with two swatches of sheet metal.
  • Raced Relics features a swatch of race-used firesuit or a swatch of race-used sheet metal.
  • Silhouettes Firesuit Signatures feature on-card autographs and die-cut swatches of firesuit material. The Green and Purple parallels contain firesuit patches.
  • Combo Materials Signatures include multi-swatch memorabilia cards and on-card autographs.
  • Collectors can expect to find an autograph of a top-five driver in each eight-box inner case.
