Panini America Offers Detailed First Look at 2018 Chronicles Baseball (Preview Gallery)

Panini America's Chronicles Baseball brand debuted last year with a compelling catch-all kind of configuration that brought many of the company's most popular (but-perhaps-off-the-market-for-a-time-for-one-reason-or-another) brands under one collecting umbrella. The product composition provided for a diverse opening experience and allowed diehard fans to chase new Rookie Cards from a host of popular brands. Clearly, the idea worked. In late August, 2018 Chronicles Baseball arrives with its own eclectic mix of new collecting possibilities.

For 2018, Chronicles Baseball will deliver a larger variety of programs, including Cornerstones, Score, Select, Phoenix, Prizm, Crusade, Contenders Optic, Spectra, Illusions, Status, Studio, Prestige, Rookies & Stars, Limited and Classics. On average, each hobby box of 2018 Chronicles Baseball (eight cards per pack, six packs per box, 16 boxes per case) will deliver three autographs and one memorabilia card.

The highlights of 2018 Chronicles Baseball are many and include . . .

  • On-card autographs of the scorching-hot 2018 rookie class in Spectra Rookie Jersey Autographs and Rookie Cornerstones.
  • An alluring array of autograph sets, including Rookie Reserve Signatures, Contenders Season Tickets, Panini Signatures, Prestige Autographs, Select Signatures, Prizm Signatures, Illusions Autographs and more.
  • Double the rookie content from 2017 featuring more than 15 Rookie Card designs.
  • On average, find two Spectra base cards per box and three different card substrates per pack.
  • Prizm Signatures make a triumphant return to baseball featuring rare Gold and Gold Vinyl parallels.
  • New Rookie Cornerstones features four corner swatches of memorabilia and on-card autographs; this unique design has four parallels numbered to 49 or less.
  • Look for the return of the Select brand to baseball with a base set that includes nine colorful parallels.
