RALEIGH, N.C. — Panini America‘s own all-star team of Chris Reed, Alex Carbajal, Al Muir and Clint Hall have spent most of the morning preparing our autograph area for the flood of real NHL All-Stars descending upon Raleigh, N.C., starting today. (For the record, I’m just here for the grunt work).

There are 15 NHL stars slated to come through our autograph area today. Here’s a quick behind-the-scenes look at our set-up. Check back later today for full coverage of our first day in Raleigh for the 2011 NHL All-Star Weekend.

  1. I love, LOVE seeing behind-the-scenes stuff like this from card companies. Maybe a video of these guys signing could be arranged? I have enjoyed other videos you have posted, especially the one showing the serial numbering process and so-on, so by all means keep the videos coming!

Just had another thought regarding videos.. I would love to see the process of cutting up a jersey and cataloging it, I have always been curious about how it’s done and exactly how many swatches can be taken from a jersey.

  2. Looks like some cool happenings. I’ve been more and more impressed with Panini’s hockey offerings. Have fun in Raleigh. It’s a nice town!!!

Def with Kevin P. on the videos. The more the better!!!

  3. “Please Sign Correct Side”.

Thank you Panini for taking care of the details!

Tracy, I assume those are Seguin’s Limited Back To The Future autos in that box?

  4. One more thing T, can you put down a list of the 15 guys you have signing?

And will they only be signing those All Star patch cards or any outstanding redemptions as well?
