Panini America On Location: At the Printing Facility with 2011-12 Dominion Hockey

First things first: I owe you a huge apology. I inadvertently lied to you last Sunday when I said that day's gallery would be the final pre-release look at 2011-12 Dominion Hockey. Turns out it wasn't. It was supposed to be, but then a quick trip to the Panini America facility this afternoon changed all of that.

Turns out it wasn’t. It was supposed to be, but then a quick trip to the Panini America facility this afternoon changed all of that.

Marketing comrade Chris Reed and I used our lunch break (and then some) to take a high-speed road trip two or three zip codes to the northeast to video the final scenes for an extremely unique video coming your way next week. But when we got there, there were so many sweet cards to look at that I simply couldn’t resist taking a few more images.

2011-12 Dominion Hockey is in its final stages of packing out as we speak. It will be live everywhere next Friday. Enjoy the following gallery, but I can’t promise it will be the last.

  1. Great stuff as usual. Older colleague of mine used to work for Fleer back in the day (like in the 60s as a teen during the summer). I am sure production looks a lot different nowadays! The cards are certainly cooler!!!

  2. The base design is truly, truly top notch. The whole product… Insane. Hopefully I don’t have to buy anymore textbooks then I can actually get my hands on one of these. College Collector Problems.

  3. Thanks for helping me forget that the NHL has canceled the preseason…Oops that made me remember 🙁 Now its either season or bust… Thanks Again, the product looks great!

  4. Looks incredible guys, can’t wait for this one to drop. Seems like I say that for all the Panini hockey releases.

I’m also very excited for the return for the Private Signings set! I can finally add to my currently complete set. Any idea when we will see a checklist Tracy?

  5. I don’t collect hockey yet I’m tempted to grab this just so I have some insane looking cards! Are the boxes hand collated?
