NEW ORLEANS — The wall-to-wall football spectacular that is the Super Bowl XLVII NFL Experience kicked off in earnest Wednesday afternoon with a welcome address from New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham and Panini Authentic exclusive Andrew Luck, followed by a quick two-song set from Forever The Sickest Kids.
In the 24 hours that have passed since, the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center has been punctuated by tons of foot traffic from football-loving locals, a special visit from Forever The Sickest Kids lead singer Jonathan Cook in the Panini America booth and a healthy contingent of collectors standing in line to purchase the special Panini America Experience-exclusive sets.
For our part, the Panini America presence at this year’s show is quite large and includes two booths: One in the memorabilia show area and another in the kids zone just across from the Cartoon Network booth. In addition to selling the special sets, we’re also distributing free 2012 NFL Sticker Albums and a custom sticker sheet only available here.
For those of you who can’t be here with us this week, the following gallery is intended to help you feel like you are. Enjoy just some of the scenes from the show and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance later this week for continued coverage, including exclusive footage from tonight’s Luck signing and 2012 Prizm Football case break from Chuck’s Field of Dreams in Mandeville, La.
Sounds like a fun week. Does this media thing include tickets to the game on Sunday?
As always looks like you guys are having a great time! Wished was there to meet ya and hang out. Would be the only booth I would visit. you guys got the best jjob ever for sure
Can I call dibs on the yellow football helmint? Lol.
Any way to get one of those Ravens Super Bowl sets without being at the NFL Experience?
R there any giveaways for being there?
im going to be there on saturday… will there still be stuff left?
Looks great Tracy, wish I could be there to enjoy all the Luck stuff you guys have out. Thanks as always!
The Warren Sapp and Aikman sculptures are awesome. I hope more of these are made and that they can be bought somehow.
Interesting memorabilia indeed…Just out of curiosity when can collectors expect to see the print run odds of finding special inserts in retail packs? Topps does a good job on that-but, the reason I am asking is because every now and then when you pull a jersey card or autographed card you always wonder how special was that find? Thanks again-
Can’t wait to get there next year!! Great stuff!!
Very nice set up! Wish I could make it down, even for these events if you can’t get in the big game.I like the big posters/banners of the players, and the cards.I’m Just wondering if you guys are going to give those out or sell em off at all?It be pretty sweet and maybe throw some autos on em too.
Cool stuff wish i was there. In the 35th pic I think it is? Are those what shoulder pads look like these days? A lot has changed if so.
Is Panini planning any special military discounts/promotions like many other companies this week? We have a large contingent if active duty personnel from all branches in New Orleans.
Pretty cool setup, you guys go all out to show the fans the good stuff!
Those locker displays are sweet, it’s giving me idea’s for my man cave when I hit the lotto!!!
As a mini helmet collector, I need that Panini helmet! Those are awesome!
really cool displays guys…
