BALTIMORE — Traditionally speaking, Sneak Preview Wednesday at the National Sports Collectors Convention is a day when most early visitors — primarily VIPs and Super VIPs — take a few evening hours to ease into the event prior to Thursday’s first full day.
But there was no easing into anything at the Panini America booth for the throngs of passionate collectors who descended upon the company’s massive, blue-carpeted oasis as soon as the door’s opened Wednesday afternoon. They soaked in all that the company had to offer, headlined by the trademark wrapper-redemption program, the special six-card VIP set, the inaugural Redemption Trade-Up program and the hobby’s most elite breakers trying to earn their way into Panini America’s exclusive Saturday night VIP party.
Oh, and there were also a few Panini America employee trading cards redeemed and autographed. It all made for a fun-filled, fast and furious Sneak Peek Wednesday, recapped in the following gallery.
Enjoy the sights and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance all week long for continued coverage of Panini America’s presence at the 2012 National Sports Collectors Convention.
Yesssss i’ve been waiting for some pictures, love it!! The atmosphere of being around so many hobbyists must be absolutely FANTASTIC!
Sweet pics! Thanks for sharing. Wished I was there. But I so much appreciate the gallery!
Tracy, I must say, you look like a pro signing autographs!
I also like the smiles on the fans faces and capturing some sick hits like the RG3 auto.
Wow…would be a dream to attend this!!! One day I’ll get there and pay a visit to my beloved panini America stand and friends!! Best wishes from the land down under!
Welcome to the Baltimore / DC Metro area, Panini. Knock it out of the park!
Looks pretty awesome down there, I wish I could have gone with my buddy Nick who tracked you down yesterday Tracy!
Yes, he did. Nice to meet him. I told him to tell you “hello.”
You going to make it down this year Tom?
Awesome Pics, Is next year’s show in Chicago? If so I will be there!
I believe it is, yes.
Wow!!! Wish I could be there! Is there any way that you can still get the redemption packs if you’re not there?????
Probably will be deleted but not happy that redemption packs ran out 40 minutes after they started giving them out.
People waited in line just to be turned away. I spent a lot on Panini products I can open.
