INDIANAPOLIS — The 2012 NFL Experience officially kicked off Friday, but yesterday was the first full day of fun at the Indiana Convention Center. Only a few “cold weather” cities have hosted the Super Bowl, but fans kept things hot inside the 500,000 square foot football exhibit.

While names like Joseph Addai, Donald Brown and Kyle Rudolph drew huge lines for free autographs on the Panini America Autograph Stage, both Panini booths (in the corporate area and Kids Zone) were packed with NFL fans excited about trading cards and stickers.

Stay tuned all next week for more exclusive coverage from Super Bowl XLVI and the 2012 NFL Experience.

  1. drove 4 hours to nfl experience only to not be let into Memorabilia area. I was so excited for this event, could not be more bummed. 8 hours driving, 100 dollars for entry and no panini show due to “the wind”…you would think this city would learn…..so upset right now…

    1. Tyler, we understand your frustration and we apologize for the inconvenience. However, the closing of our area was completely out of our control and mandated by the NFL as a safety precaution.

We’ll reach out to you next week when we’re all back in the office to follow up.

  2. I’m coming tomorrow! Hoping for an NFL scout to notice me, if not i’ll be getting some memorablia! Zip line on Wednesday just in case I die, I will still have visited the NFL Experience. I was in Super Bowl village Friday, and it was off the hook! I’m excited for the rest of the week! Will there be wax to open?

  3. NFL Experience doesn’t open until 3 PM tomorrow (2/1/12), I’ll be there in the morning, is there any way to purchase Panini Cards before the opening of the NFL Eperience?

  4. I’m bringing my family to the NFL experience this Saturday and I’d really like to know where to go for the autographs? I have a 4yr old that would love to have his picture taken with a player or two. Is there a certain door to the convention center that we need to go to? We’ll be there early. I just don’t know where to go or where the line will start. Are tickets handed out in advance for auto’s? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!
    Jacob
