The trading card spoils keep coming for the Super Bowl XLIX-champion New England Patriots.
In the eight days since New England’s dramatic last-second victory over the Seattle Seahawks, Panini America has announced that the first NFL Rookie Card of Patriots defensive hero Malcolm Butler would be added to 2014 National Treasures Football . . . and that the Patriots and Super Bowl XLIX would be the subjects of a 52-card tribute set as part of the 2014 Select Football Award Selections interactive redemption program.
Today, Panini America announced one more Patriotic trading card tribute, this one a standalone 25-card Super Bowl XLIX set that will be available at mass retail outlets, select hobby shops and online at iCollectPanini.com in the coming days. The cards are literally being printed today and will begin shipping to retail outlets and to Panini America HQ later this week.

The set features photography taken during Super Bowl XLIX and includes 18 player cards (Butler’s first NFL card, Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, Darrelle Revis and more) and seven cards honoring the game’s biggest moments, headlined by Butler’s game-saving interception, all four Patriots touchdowns and a two-card tribute to Brady.
