As if the announcement that the 2012-13 NHL season will happen wasn't reason enough for hockey collectors across North America to celebrate this week, we're about to give you a whole bunch more. Earlier this afternoon, I ventured back to the acquisitions area just as a sizable stash of on-card autographs for 2012-13 Limited Hockey were being prepared to send to the Panini America production facility for packout.

So I called a quick time out, whipped out my trusty iPhone camera and went to work snapping as many images as I could for the following gallery. From the dual-signed deliciousness of the popular Back to the Future insert to a familiar, extremely popular technology used on the stunning Trophy Winners insert, here’s betting you’ll find something to get excited about in the early February release of 2012-13 Limited Hockey.
Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that the list of on-card-autograph signers includes the likes of, oh, Gordie Howe, Mark Messier, Joe Sakic, Tim Thomas, Patrick Roy and so many more. Take a look for yourself below and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional information on the upcoming 2012-13 Limited Hockey.
I feel like Animal from the Muppets: HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY!!
Well hopefully the price doesn’t turn people off like Classic Signatures did. $30 a pack to pull a Dirk Graham or JIm Craig auto really cheesed off customers in my store.
Looks Amazing
I would love that Andreychuk auto. Looks great!!!
Wow, those look awesome, love the trophies on the card with the player and on card autos are awesome.
Beautiful stuff!!! Thanks Tracy
what a great way to welcome hockey back. the new rease of 12-13 limted. can’t way to see both with my own eyes.
I wish all the players had signed those trophy cards the way Robitaille did. Looks much nicer than the ones that signed one the left side
Outstanding array of on-card scripts, just in time for the puck to drop for the season. Certainly some exemplary signatures for others to emulate. Thanks Tracy!
Hockey players have some of the best signatures! If only NBA and NFLers would learn from them and Deion Sanders!
Two words…..ON CARD
Makes me want to drive to Chicago and see a game — loved the Stan Mikita card. My dad sure would have liked to have it.
Looks like another stellar product guys. I sure hope there is a Nash Rocket Richard trophy card to chase. Can’t wait to see a checklist.
Rich
How does that not get you pumped about the season starting soon. Great graphic designs!
Tracy,
I have been waiting so long for Limited this year. Will you please place the new rookies that will debut on January 19 in the product as redemptions at least? Or will they be released as part of a Rookie Anthology set again this year? Limited is my favorite hockey product and I can’t wait for you to preview the rookie patch autos.
Thanks for the help and hopefully you guys can either offer redemptions or delay the product to include the rookies, like Huberdeau in the new product.
T
Appreciate the feedback. Not sure how we’re going to handle the RCs but will ask our guys to find out.
Those trophy winner inserts are amazing. I’m not even a hockey guy, but I WANT them. What’s the print run on those?
That is a great photo on the Messier card! It captures the Captain perfectly
I think the hockey product design team needs to help the basketball design team. These are the kind of cards the basketball collectors want…
Now that some sweet autos !! Love this silver foil those cards have, so much. That would make the best set to chase. I seen a few that Id love to own, like the Francis and Lindross and Howe. Great job on these Panini. Thanks for the peak Tracy. Cant wait to open some
Those Trophy Winners are trophy winners and the BTTF autos are no slouches either! Top notch, Tracy!
Just hope that there are any Tom Barrasso card in this set…?
Can’t wait to see these on the tables at the Summit IV, they look great and probably better in person I imagine.
