But 2011-12 Prime Hockey is about so much more than just pretty patches. It’s also about a healthy dose of simply breathtaking autographed cards, too. A few weeks ago we shared with you what some of those cards looked like before they were sent to the players. Today, we bring you a stunning gallery showcasing the early returns, including gems from the legendary Gordie Howe, Gabriel Landeskog, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and more.

Enjoy the view . . .

  1. It’s truly combo of UD Ultimate and OPCP but it looks great.

I applaud the holographic foil implemented in the cards, it definitely makes them look aesthetically pleasing.

The patches are sweet but the checklist, as always, will be a huge barometer of potential success.

Is it TOO deep with fringe entry-level players or is it the right balance of superstars, young stars, hot rookies and a few bums/potential gems?

Thanks for sharing these great images.

  2. I imagine I know the answer already but also know Panini has pleasantly surprised me a few times so here goes:

Are any of the materials for the rookies used in this set or upcoming products GAME-USED? Or is it all event/photoshoot-worn swatches?

    Thank you.

  3. Great looking product Tracy!! I have always been a Flyers fan but not until recently did I finally start collecting hockey with my usual baseball & football and have to say I have taken a shine to the 2011-12 Titanium and by the looks of it I will be indulging into this product as well. Thanks for the preview Tracy and enjoy the up and coming 4th of July holiday. P.S – I really appreciate Panini stepping up and getting alot of the redemptions out as of late. Talk to you soon brother!!!

  4. Love the prime pieces….but most of all..love the shine to the cards and the shine that outlines where the prime pieces are and the design of the outline as well. Its not a plain square. Got some wiggle in their and it really stands out! Great job guys!
