Panini America Peeks Rookie Card Content Coming in 2013-14 NBA Hoops Basketball

Even as the Panini America NBA Product Development team applies a full-court press of sorts to finish the 2012-13 NBA collecting season on a memorable note (with Intrigue, Flawless and Immaculate set to round out the year in the next six weeks), it's also keeping one eye firmly fixed on 2013-14 NBA Hoops Basketball, the first product of the new season set to arrive late next month.

Even as the Panini America NBA Product Development team applies a full-court press of sorts to finish the 2012-13 NBA collecting season on a memorable note (with Intrigue, Flawless and Immaculate set to round out the year in the next six weeks), it’s also keeping one eye firmly fixed on 2013-14 NBA Hoops Basketball, the first product of the new season set to arrive late next month.

Naturally, some of the most-asked questions from collectors when we first provided preliminary details of the new-and-improved jumbo edition of 2013-14 NBA Hoops last month revolved around the look and makeup of the product’s Rookie Card checklist. Today, we start providing some answers with a must-see first look at the 40 Rookie Cards rounding out the 300-card base set.

While you can’t truly appreciate the subtle foil enhancements that will adorn these cards around the “RC” and “NBA Hoops” logos once they’re finished, you can absolutely appreciate the historical significance of these being the first NBA-licensed Rookie Cards of Anthony Bennett, Victor Oladipo, Otto Porter, Cody Zeller and the other key members of the 2013 NBA Draft.

  1. I love it, if I don’t get the chance to complete the full set I will definetly try and complete the rookie sets, this might be a product I buy a box of, it releases a few weeks after my birthday so hopefully I get some cash to bust some packs!

  2. can’t wait for the case hit inserts.. hopefully there are prizm like inserts (lowe numbered) or acetate inserts (numbered ) in this product that people can chase… tracy, when will be the next preview on flawless and immaculate ???
