  1. I know that there will be people who do not like the cards because they do not show the player breaking the record but I have to say, these are some of the coolest insert cards out there. This is the history of baseball; these items are a piece of history that most people will never be able to get to see unless they go to Cooperstown.

    I love this insert.

  2. Cool idea for an insert set that fits in perfectly with the theme of the release. All but two of those cards display memorabilia that was used by players who have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. I am most interested in one of those two. While my mother would argue that Don Larsen’s Perfect Game in the World Series was the SECOND best thing to happen on October 8th, I am happy to relinquish the number one spot to Larsen’s accomplishment, one of the most significant personal performances certainly in World Series history and, perhaps, even in modern Baseball history. I met Mr. Larsen at this year’s National and it was a thrill. I’m sure he has met plenty of October 8th babies in his time, but he couldn’t have been more gracious about it. Thanks for putting the date of the accomplishment on the front of the card, displayed so prominently. Really looking forward to this release.
