Panini America Prepares to Hit the Road for Fifth Annual Spring Training Road Trip
In a span of 10 action-packed days starting later today, Panini America baseball officials will visit six cities in two states to produce the Fifth Annual Panini Spring Training Road Trip, easily one of the most pivotal baseball events on the Panini America calendar every year. Just as they’ve done for the last four seasons, Panini America officials will use the trip to meet with the brightest young stars in baseball for autograph sessions, photo shoots and spirited marketing and social media activation.
During the last four Panini Spring Training Road Trips, company officials have connected with more than 300 players. For 2018, the objective is to grow that number and to capture as much meaningful product and marketing content as possible. For the third straight year, Panini America will partner with some of the top group breakers in the country to add a distinct hobby flavor to the proceedings, complete with guest appearances from the players themselves.
The trip kicks off this evening when five different Panini America teams will disperse across the state of Florida to hit key spring training sites in Fort Myers, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa and Sarasota. On March 19, next Monday, Panini America officials will move to Phoenix for three straight days of intensive acquisitions and interactions. Throughout the trip, Panini America will engage players in a series of events that includes autograph signings, trading card photo shoots, Panini America Box Breaks, social media activation featuring Twitter and Instagram, and behind-the-scenes access of all the festivities. Of course, there will be significant focus on showcasing the players’ newest Panini America baseball cards, too.
Key players scheduled to attend the Fifth Annual Panini Spring Training Road Trip include Brendan McKay, Gleyber Torres, Justus Sheffield, Clint Frazier, Rafael Devers and many more.
