Panini America Prepares to Hit the Road for Third Annual Spring Training Road Trip

In a span of 10 action-packed days starting next Monday, Panini America baseball officials will visit six cities in two states to produce the Third Annual Panini Spring Training Road Trip, easily one of the most pivotal baseball events on the Panini America calendar every year. Just as they've done for the last two seasons, Panini America officials will use the trip to meet with the brightest young stars in baseball for autograph sessions, photo shoots and spirited marketing and social media activation.

In a span of 10 action-packed days starting next Monday, Panini America baseball officials will visit six cities in two states to produce the Third Annual Panini Spring Training Road Trip, easily one of the most pivotal baseball events on the Panini America calendar every year. Just as they’ve done for the last two seasons, Panini America officials will use the trip to meet with the brightest young stars in baseball for autograph sessions, photo shoots and spirited marketing and social media activation.

During the last two Panini Spring Training Road Trips, company officials have connected with more than 150 players. For 2016, the objective is to grow that number. New for 2016? Panini America will partner with some of the top group breakers in the country to add a distinct hobby flavor to the proceedings, complete with guest appearances from the players themselves.

The trip kicks off March 14 when five different Panini America teams will disperse across the state of Florida to to hit key spring training sites in Fort Myers, Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa and Sarasota. On March 21, Panini America officials will move to Phoenix for three straight days of intensive acquisitions and interactions. Throughout the trip, Panini America plans to meet with more than 150 of the brightest young players in baseball (as well as a few superstar veterans) for a series of events that includes autograph signings, trading card photo shoots, Panini America Box Breaks and social media activation featuring Twitter and Instagram takeovers of the PaniniAmerica account and must-see, behind-the-scenes access. Of course, there will be significant focus on showcasing the players’ newest Panini America baseball cards.

  1. Looks like a solid roster for this excursion, I’d like to see a set dedicated to former players who are now managers or coaches throughout baseball. Seems like this would be a great opportunity to pull that off. Thanks Tracy!
