Panini America Prepares to Kick Off the 2011 NFL Experience in its Own Backyard

The first weekend of the Super Bowl XLV NFL Experience kicks off on Thursday at the Dallas Convention Center, just miles from Panini America's corporate headquarters. Fittingly, the company's plans for the show are as big as the host state.

The first weekend of the Super Bowl XLV NFL Experience kicks off on Thursday at the Dallas Convention Center, just miles from Panini America‘s corporate headquarters. Fittingly, the company’s plans for the show are as big as the host state.

With an aim to please diehard Lone Star locals as well as those fans descending upon the neighborhood to support Super Bowl XLV foes from Green Bay and Pittsburgh, Panini America has devised a multi-faceted gameplan.

For starters, there’s the massive 28-card show-exclusive card set honoring nine players from the Pittsburgh Steelers, nine players from the Green Bay Packers and 10 players from the hometown Dallas Cowboys (gallery below). The set will be sold for $25  at the Panini America booth throughout both weekends of the NFL Experience while supplies last.

Pack-busting collectors in attendance will be able to chase a three-card wrapper-redemption set that pays tribute to a pair of legendary Cowboys Super Bowl MVPs (Troy Aikman and Randy White) and the franchise’s talented up-and-comer (Dez Bryant).

While these attractive, limited-edition trading cards are sure to compel collectors for the next 11 days, they represent a small fraction of everything Panini America has planned for a Super Bowl that’s being played less than one mile from company headquarters.

Stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance all next week for complete coverage of everything we have going on. Until then, enjoy this first look . . .

      1. Sounds good! If you do, can you reply to this message here? Then I’ll get an e-mail and be able to jump on the opportunity quickly! So few sets make all the Packers receivers available, and I have yet to see a card anywhere for Kuhn!

  1. These cards look awesome! I can’t wait to say the Panini presence at Super Bowl unfold! But first…NHL All Star and there’s some hot news coming out of there right?

  2. As a Steelers fan I anxiously await word on how we can acquire those cards.

So as a the voice/face of Panini do you get to go to the Super Bowl? Maybe hang out on the sidelines?
