Indeed, if an NHL player has worn it or carried it to take the ice during the course of his career thus far, and it can somehow be configured to fit on a trading card, chances are it’s in Panini America’s 2012-13 Prime Hockey. And if it’s in Prime Hockey, chances are there’s a sneak peek of it in the massive gallery that follows.

We’ve already brought you two must-see sneak peeks at the packout process for 2012-13 Prime Hockey right here on The Knight’s Lance in the last week or so. This fitting conclusion details many of the set’s assets that you haven’t seen yet — and it also marks our final pre-release look at Prime.

With the product set to go live next week, anything Prime you see after today will come directly from sealed boxes of the product.

Enjoy.

  1. Simply incredible. Hats off to the Hockey gurus for making this incredible cap to the 2013 season. Can’t wait to see a checklist and all the amazing cards I’ll be putting on my want list!

  2. I wish football had logos large enough to release a product like this… the only thing can think of is if you cut the captains patches into 4 pieces and have 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4

  3. Wow, massive drool gallery, can’t believe everything you have done with this years product. Need to make sure I buy quite a bit of this product this year. Cards and design look amazing.

  4. Tracy,
These are unbelievable! That Vanbiesbrouck with Roy is really cool, makes me reminisce about my childhood. Will there be any other Vanbiesbrouck items in the product, like autos?
    Thanks and great work.
    T

  5. Absolutely incredible! Product of the year without question. Kudos to the boys at Panini. I can’t wait to bust this stuff!

  6. Hands down this is the set of the year. The patches, laces, gloves, skates, etc. used are by far the best looking out there. I don’t think any other set could compare to this. Panini set the bar very high this year and next year I don’t know how you could possibly beat this set.

  7. Love the creativity. This is what happens when you get really passionate hobbyest running things at a card company and not just business people and pencil pushers. I really have to give it up to Chris and his team. Great job @PaniniPuck.
…..oh yeah, you too Tracy. 😉

  8. Now, this is how you build up the buzz for a product – by showing how killer it is. Of course I’m left wondering how many other Hawks collectors will be fighting to rebuild the Crawford Indian Head. It’s simply a beautiful way to handle the best logo in sports.

  9. Wow, great work on this year’s product. Looks like Prime has indeed delivered and raised the bar yet again. Just seeing the behind the scenes video of cutting the patches and now seeing it all come to fruition is amazing. I am a big fan of the gloves and skate leather cards. I really feel as if they truly bring us closer to the players and to the game.

  10. What a lovely product 12-13 Prime is, so many patches to go around. I still can’t believe how a skate is on a card, unbelievable. Great job Panini! Keep up the good work!

  11. Tracy,
Amazing job. Finally some Adam Foote Memorabilia Cards been waiting for that for a long time. My question is will Corey Crawford have an Auto in this stuff. Thanks

  12. It’s great to see this flagship product concentrate on existing players given the more than weak rookie selection. Looks very promising and I will for sure grab a box or two. Great job, guys!

  13. If there is a collector, whether a hockey card one or not, that doesn’t like this product, they need their eyes checked. wow

  14. Insane product 😉 On your checklist website I´m able to click the Prime checklist till “Select cardset”. But there is nothing…Are you just doing the upload?
