One week ago today right here on The Knight’s Lance, we shared with you the glorious first looks of the brilliant Rookie Card content coming to 2012-13 National Treasures Basketball. For all of that gallery’s splendor, though, additional information on the first National Treasures Basketball release in two years wasn’t available at that time. It is now.

2012-13 National Treasures Basketball is slated to hit the hobby in late July with 10-card wood boxes delivering a whopping combination of nine autographs, memorabilia cards or printing plates. Within the 200-card base set, 100 current stars are bolstered by 66 Rookie Patch Autographs and 34 Rookie Autographs.

Many of National Treasures’ brand staples make their triumphant return, including the rare Logoman and Laundry Tag memorabilia cards, Notable Nicknames autographs, triple- and quadruple-signed autograph cards, on-card signatures from ABA legends, Colossal jumbo memorabilia cards, Timelines autograph memorabilia cards and so much more.

We’ll have plenty of additional coverage on 2012-13 National Treasures Basketball (which will be packaged three boxes to a case) in the coming weeks. But until then, enjoy this extended look at just some of what you can expect for the stunning return of a trading card titan.

  1. Wow those Logoman are crazy!

Any chance that Rasheed Wallace is in the checklist?

if so,then i will have to save lots of $ before it will be released!

  2. how about a rivalry logoman combo ? e.g. lebron vs durant/ lebron vs kobe/ kove vs durant/ westbrook vs rose/ too many to mention 🙂

  3. You have to be Jason Kidding me. Every year, NT Basketball blows me away…this product and the outrageous auto patch rooks’ sit at the very top of the hobby food chain. Everything about NT is ultra high-end, and puts the product well beyond the reach of all but the most well-heeled of collectors. Those fortunate enough to be able to afford the serious per box coin are assured of some magnificent pulls.
That ‘Zo auto patch is so ill.
Beautiful stuff, can’t wait for the next gallery!

  4. Sweet I can’t wait! Blake’s nickname is Blake superior? I never heard that. Sick stuff as always I hope I can pull a game used logoman 1/1 this year. Fingers crossed!!!!

  5. Great stuff! 2 questions, Tracy.
    1) which of the Kyrie’s previewed is his “true” rookie card
    2) Will Quincy Acy be an RPA or regular rookie auto?

  6. Nice, it seams it was already worth to woke up at 3am to watch the Final, and to found this entry here 🙂 We have a old proverb here, what goes something like this: “Those who woke up early, will find gold.” Actually it sounds better in hungarian, but as i see this cards i think it is proven to be true again.

  7. Amazing! I know Tracy put that WARRIORS Logoman first just to show there are more and more Warriors in Panini products now that the world knows what us fans get to see all year long. Its early but to me this is gonna be right with NT football! Keep up the great work and adding Warriors.

  8. Great product. Major players in the card game. If you are ever interested in the NFL CBA, scouting reports and analysis check out in2theleague.wordpress.com we’d love to have Panini Cards swing by our little site. It would be an honor.

  9. Dual Logomen….I’m sold!

Side Note: I commend you, and thank you for so many amazing things you have done with Brilliance and Crusade. They are the sets a hobby collector loves. I keep my big hits to add to my diverse collection. I’m not trying to find something to flip on the secondary market. Unless it’s John Elway. Sorry Tracy…have always been and will be a proud member of Raider Nation.
Back to my original point. Firstly, the standard size memorabilia hits are the size a real jersey card should be. I love the look of the beautiful and many different cards in Brilliance. It gives me a Steam Punk vibe. The amount of quality pulls available in Crusade along with the stunning base cards. And that fact that so much is available in these two sets for the low price is very cool. Thanks, seriously.

    1. I recognize that this is not a Crusade thread, but I totally agree with Justin’s observation re: Crusade Basketball. Love the “Knight Court” sub-set as it ties in with the whole “Crusader” theme. Paves the way for “Inquisition Football.”
Panini has a product for every price point, and each provides value… no easy feat.

  10. Wow!!!! This would be our first taste of National Treasure.
    Looks really awesome.
    Unbelievable!
Kudos and salute to team panini!

  11. Now for the trifecta! First Baseball, then Football, wrap it up with Basketball.

National Treasures has not disappointed in any of the sports, at least for me anyways. Can’t wait to take a shot at this release.

Great consistent design and hits. No doubt, basketball card collectors are drooling with anticipation.

    #collect.
