Panini America's venerable Donruss Baseball, a name synonymous with card collecting since the early 1980s, ushers in 2017 with a robust new release that remains steeped in a legacy that includes Rated Rookies, Diamond Kings, Elite Series, Dominators and, once again this season, The Famous San Diego Chicken.

Panini America’s venerable Donruss Baseball, a name synonymous with card collecting since the early 1980s, ushers in 2017 with a robust new release that remains steeped in a legacy that includes Rated Rookies, Diamond KingsElite Series, Dominators and, once again this season, The Famous San Diego Chicken.

Set to arrive in hobby shops across North America on March 1, 2017 Donruss Baseball features hobby boxes that deliver, on average, three autograph or memorabilia cards, seven parallels, 39 Retro Variations 1983, five Diamond Kings, two Rated Rookies, two The Prospects, four Variations and four inserts.

The highlights of 2017 Donruss Baseball are many and include . . .

  • A stacked autograph lineup featuring Signature Series, Significant Signatures and Retro Signatures.
  • The first Rookie Cards of the top of the 2017 Rookie Class.

  1. This looks like another fine effort for Donruss Baseball. It looks like a very collectible set to chase. It is good to see that Donruss Baseball has staying power and will be around for years to come.
