Panini America Provides Detailed First Look at 2018 Certified Racing (Preview Gallery)

Panini America's colorfully hued and highly collectible Certified franchise has long been a staple in the world of basketball and football trading cards. It's gradually becoming a mainstay on the NASCAR track, too. In late July, Panini America will release 2018 Certified NASCAR Racing, the first Certified NASCAR product since 2016 that will deliver, on average, two autographs, two memorabilia cards and eight numbered inserts or parallels per hobby box (five cards per pack, 10 packs per box, 12 boxes per case).

Panini America’s colorfully hued and highly collectible Certified franchise has long been a staple in the world of basketball and football trading cards. It’s gradually becoming a mainstay on the NASCAR track, too.

The calling-card characteristics of the Certified franchise — most notably the Mirror parallels and a compelling array of autograph and memorabilia cards — will be on bold display in 2018 Certified NASCAR Racing, as will a storied roster of longtime Certified inserts.

The highlights of the product are many and include . . .

  • Autograph material cards from this year’s top rookie drivers in Freshman Firesuits; featuring Red (numbered to 199 or less), Blue (numbered to 49 or less), Gold (numbered to 25 or less), Purple (numbered to 10 or less), Green (numbered to five or less) and Black 1/1 parallels.
  • Hard-signed memorabilia cards of the sport’s top drivers in Certified Materials Signatures and Certified Signature Swatches.
  • The return of Mirror Golds in the base set along with the following inserts: Certified Stars, All-Certified Team, Epix, Skills and Fresh Faces.
  • In addition to an 80-card base set, 2018 Certified NASCAR Racing will have a 10-card Immortals set and a 10-card Cars set. Both showcase some of the most popular drivers of all time.
  • The 27-card Signing Sessions insert features on-card autographs and features six parallels: Red (numbered to 75 or less), Blue (numbered to 50 or less), Gold (numbered to 25 or less), Purple (numbered to 10 or less), Green (numbered to five or less) and Black 1/1s.

We’ll have plenty more on 2018 Certified NASCAR Racing in the coming weeks right here on The Knight’s Lance. Until then, here’s an extended sneak peek:
