Panini America Provides Detailed First Look at 2018 Score Football (Preview Gallery)
Panini America’s landmark Score Football franchise is a proud part of the collecting culture in this country — and it’s been that way since that maiden release way back in 1989. Almost 30 years later, the product remains an early season staple that appeals to novice and veteran collectors alike with a potent mix of action-packed base and insert cards, the season’s first officially licensed Rookie Cards, a massive base set and autographs aplenty. The upcoming 2018 Score Football promises more of the same — and that’s a good thing.
Set to arrive in hobby shops across North America in late April, each hobby box of 2018 Score Football (40 cards per pack, 10 packs per box, 12 boxes per case) will deliver, on average, four autographs, a whopping 96 Rookie Cards, 36 inserts and 10 parallels. The insert and subset roster offers an entertaining romp through the pageantry of the NFL.
The highlights of 2018 Score Football are many and include . . .
- The first officially licensed NFL Rookie Cards of the 2018 NFL Draft Class.
- The sport’s largest base set with 330 veterans and 110 rookies.
- Four numbered parallels and 36 insert cards per jumbo box, on average.
- Rare multi-autograph cards in Draft Dual Signatures.
- An Inscriptions insert that features rare veteran and legend autographs numbered to 25 or less.
- An action-packed insert lineup that includes All Hands Team, Huddle Up, Celebration, Color Rush, Sidelines, Scoreboard, Captains, NFL Draft and Fantasy Stars.
