Panini America Provides Incentive to RG III Collectors in 2012 Prominence Football

When Panini America’s new 2012 Prominence Football makes its hobby debut on Wednesday, it will be bolstered by five different Rookie Cards of each of the 35 superstars who attended the 2012 NFLPA Rookie Premiere.

In essence, five of Panini America’s most popular Rookie Card subsets — Autographed Nameplate Letters, Autographed NFL Team Field Plates, Autographed Team Logo Patches, Autographed NFL Team Helmets and Autographed Event-Worn Jersey Cards — come together in one product to form the collecting catalyst for 2012 Prominence Football.

Each Rookie Card type for each player will be produced in identical quantities, creating a unique opportunity for player collectors. But for one player in particular, Washington Redskins rookie sensation Robert Griffin III, Panini America is going to sweeten the pot.

Since we all know you can’t spell “Griffin III” without the “III,” we’re going to reward the first collector to acquire the G-R-I-F-F-I-N from RG III’s Rookie Class Signatures subset (and then sends the letters to us for verification) with the three special “I” cards to complete their set.
